9:00 pm – concert
The warm melodies of the Balearic Islands melt into the smoothness of the Catalan language. It doesn’t take much (a couple notes with the guitar, a small percussion instrument…) to make the music that accompanies the ancestral singing of this young, poetic songwriter. Accompanied by friend and fellow musician Ada Elinor, Mar Grimalt is counted as one of the most intense among the authors and singers hailing from the Majorcan scene.
The most inspired and original songwriter of contemporary Friulian music presents the remarkable tracks that make up his album, Hrudja. Singing in the language of his heart, Massimo builds a bridge between modern music and his taste for Villotta songs. He takes us on a journey through a language – stubborn, raw, polished – that wants to survive.
