CE CRODISTU DI FÂ
It is the first-person account of a modern-day farmer’s struggle with the ancient peasant tradition of working the land, amidst the difficulties of today’s constant climatic, labour and bureaucratic changes. A battle lost in the stubborn attempt to keep the world as “it has always been”, highlighting the wisdom inherent in popular tradition as well as the stubborn repetition of its distortions. This TSF production in Friulian is an adaptation of Freark Smink’s original Frisian text “Wat Soesto”.
