Coming from the alpine area of Carnia, inside Friuli region, Doro Gjat – real name
Luca Dorotea – is one of the most influent protagonists of the contemporary
musical scene in Friuli. He creates his personal style by blending pop and rap
music in an unique way. The most peculiar feature of his songs is how he employs
the regional language of Friuli smartly, combining it with Italian and English. He
started his musical career in the band Carnicats, but he has been working on his
parallel solo career for some years, achieving quite a good success coherently with
his previous experience.
