The opening of SUNS EUROPE 2017 will be followed by the presentation of Minority Safepack, a European Citizens’ Initiative apt to strengthen the protection of minority languages in the EU and promoted by the FUEN/FUEV (Federal Union of European nationalities).
By the 3rd of April 2018, the European Commission will need one million signatures to undertake a legislative process to guarantee the application of laws and adopt a set of legal acts to improve the protection of persons belonging to national and linguistic minorities.
