If the ‘90s were one of the most trailblazing decades in the reimagining of a new Friulian culture, the “FLK” undoubtedly wrote their soundtrack. My Sarajevo, Ratatuie, Tu tramontis acted as the needed catalyst for a generation that cared deeply about social and political issues. From their debut, through their first long break, to today, the time was marked by the release of seven albums that became progressively more and more sophisticated and poetic. Last summer they finally decided to get back on stage. We really needed them!
