Hailing from the Basque city of Tolosa, Verde Prato is a well-rounded artist with an eclectic and visionary career, spanning painting and music. Despite her young age, she is a versatile and never banal artist who crafts the contours of her songs with original melodies, minimal rhythms and references to Basque oral tradition. She is a refined writer who expresses herself on themes of identity linked to her community, as well as on themes of introspection and a desire for progress.
